Professional Broadcaster
Over many years, I have been involved with creating and producing content for radio and online news. I have broadcasted and published stories about railroads, toll roads, museums, and local and state news. My skills have been built through creating podcasts and content for WUFT, Gainesville’s National Public Radio Station. I have hosted two NPR segments, Morning Edition and All Things Considered, and have also served as the local newscaster for All Things Considered. Creating promos, hosting fund drives, covering live events and broadcasting from remote locations are duties I have experience with.
Outside of WUFT, I am the Creative Services Director for MARC Radio Group in Gainesville. Here I create commercials for our stations, manage websites, and serve as an afternoon DJ for 100.5 The Buzz.
My love for creating content and telling stories combined with my passion for radio will lead me to success in the world of broadcasting. I currently live in Gainesville Florida, but I am open to relocation. I hope to be someone who can serve the community through the use of broadcasting whether that be through commercial, public media or a great rock station.

Ironically enough, I came to the University of Florida for TV. My background in high school was in television and anchoring. However, with great professors and mentorship from WUFT–FM, I have found my true passion in the radio broadcasting world. I also made it a commitment to report on smaller cities when I came to UF. This is because of my personal experience growing up in Dunnellon and Ocala. I have found that because of going to cities like High Springs, Waldo, Micanopy, and Archer, I have built great relationships with these communities and brought attention to issues that needed to be addressed. I have found that hosting shows can also set the pace for the next segment of radio, and I realize that I can be the friend who fills people’s cars and homes. Some may say that radio is a dying field, but to me, this is a statement that is not true. I have seen how fast word can spread on air, how creative reporters and DJs are with radio content, and how many people still love the radio. I plan on continuing to not only push myself but also others to be the best they can be for their station and community. I plan on challenging how radio is currently viewed and eventually bring radio back into the spotlight of American media.
